This winter, CAS volunteers will continue to manage seven tax preparation sites in Northeast Connecticut's Hartford and Windham Counties from February 1 through April 15th.  CPAs from CAS work with trained volunteers from Eastern Connecticut State University, University of Hartford and others to provide free quality tax preparation for eligible clients, including Earned Income Credit refunds.  After April 15th, CAS volunteers can still prepare your return by computer and file it electronically. Contact us on our home page.  Did we say free?

Thanks to everyone!

The CAS/VITA program had another successful year, thanks to the very hard work of ECSU and UofH interns and CAS volunteers.  They gave up work time and personal time, in some cases traveling long distances, to staff our sites.  They also put in time outside of their shifts to do research and field technical questions from other volunteers.

And thanks to our sponsors, the Connecticut Society of CPAs, Village for Families and Children and The United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut.  And our site hosts.  We couldn't have done it without you!
