How to qualify as a Community Accounting Services Client
In order to carry out our mission of service to the community, we've established several guidelines based on income.  Remember that these are just guidelines and our staff is allowed to make exceptions for those who are in need.  So, don't hesitate to call for more information.

All clients
If you are presently being served by a CPA, you must obtain a release from the CPA using our release form.

Individuals and families
The adjusted gross income projected for the applicant's tax return for the current calendar year must be less than the amount set for IRS VITA tax assistance, which is currently $53,000 for a family, $35,000 for an individual.

Small businesses
Our administrator will apply similar standards to those for individuals and families.  Contact us for more information.

Not-for-profit organizations
Annual revenues must be less than $100,000.

Ready for the next step?  Click on the link below or contact us at the phone number or email listed at the top of this page.  We'll search our roster of volunteers and assign a qualified CPA to work with you.
