Community Accounting Services, Inc. (CAS) is a nonprofit organization that provides free financial counseling, tax preparation and help with tax authorities for eligible people, businesses and not-for-profit organizations in Connecticut.
We are volunteer Certified Public Accountants who use our skills to improve the lives and finances of all Connecticut residents.
We understand that everyone goes through a time in life where financial and tax pressures seem overwhelming. That's where we can help. A CPA is an accountant who has received advanced training and certification and who who pursues a life-long program of skills development and formal continuing education.
CPAs are able to handle a broad range of financial challenges in serving clients. In serving clients for Community Accounting Services, we are able to make our skills available - for free - to those who would otherwise not afford them and who might be left behind in today's complex tax and financial environment.
